My new p-doc says that I also have ADHD, combined type. The diagnostic code was 314.01 on my lab work sheet.

I am wondering if anyone here has ADHD as well as bipolar and what your treatment is.

I have ADHD as well as OCD. Currently to control everything I'm on Effexor, Seroquel, Prozac, Klonopin, and Dexedrine SP. I take 45 mgs of Dexedrine in the morning and it seems to work until around 4:00. Personally, I liked adderall better, but then it stopped working. I'm also going to a therapist to work on the ADHD. The key is to make a routine and stick to the routine. I carry around a timer too, so I don't get lost in space, and have wasted 2 hours trying to figure out one excel function! I have learned that I function well when there's order, and only having my boss tell me what to work on instead of 15 different people. Also with ADHD I would always try to take on multiple important tasks all at once, so then I would go a little manic and take extra adderall, but now I know I can't do that. Now I take one task at a time and follow through with it until the end.
Thanks for this!

Actually, I am also wondering what the difference is, since bipolar and ADHD share so many symptoms.
