I am new here. I was diagnosed with bipolar about 2 years ago, but probably have lived with it my entire life. I just finished both WRAP training and Peer Support Specialist Training which are big deals to me. The WRAP training was devised by Mary Ellen Copeland and helps people to develop their own personal recovery plans. Peer support is about learning to help people by sharing what you have learned from walking in their shoes. I look forward to getting to know you better. I am still a little confused by all the stuff on this site but hope to learn. Any help willl be appreciated.

Everyone around me but I am always alone.

Hour by hour and week by week,
I deal with myself and I never feel complete.

I want to be normal; I want to be sane,
No matter what I do, I always feel the pain.

“Stop the mania and fight back,
It’s all in your head”
I wish I could do it; I would rather go to bed.

Sometimes I am high and sometimes I am low,
I wish they could see me, so I won’t be alone.
