Hi, im currently on xanex and trazadone until i can see pdr. in mid-jan? And it is so hard, each day i think it will be better on the meds., but i also know they dont change that much, and since i can no longer afford the 150 for 1/2 at dr. i have seen on and off for 7 years, i am enrolled on an income-based program only the pdr. comes every THREE MONTHS!! Oh God, it seems to be taking forever, and im soo irratible, anxious, and yeah moody. Well met the therapist who does the intake at this new place, and shes like are you sure your old dr. said bipolar,"cause idont see this" and im like yeah, an affective disorder, and she was like maybe schizoaffective disorder?? I mean like i KNOW that i was going to be CLOSELY watched, studied, so i wasnt in there letting it all hang out, you knnow? So, i guess ill just have to wait and see, sorry this dragged out, its just so frustrating when i finally decide that ill try the meds. again, and this program is soo slow. Well, it ended with her requesting my records form pdr., and doubting I know what im talking about,..Frustrating....

I'm sorry you're having a frustrating time. I'm a little concerned that you are taking an anti-anxiety med and an antidepressant (although it's more usually prescribed as a sleep aide) and NOT a mood stabilizer. It seems like not adding the mood stabilizer would make things worse when you have Bipolar.

Hopefully things will work out the best for you.
