I am almost 17 years old and I have been wondering if I have Bipolar Disorder for a while, but mostly kept it to myself... Sometimes I will freak out on my parents and my sister for absolutely no reason, and even while I do it I feel bad, but I almost feel like I just can't stop, and I feel horrible when it happens. There are also days where I feel completely on top of the world like nobody can stop me.

Could my ADHD have anything to do with my change in moods at all, or could I have Bipolar Disorder?

You need to ask a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist.
Thanks for this!

Hard to say. You'd have to see a pdoc (psychiatrist). Usually episodes of hypomania or mania last at least a few days, if not weeks or months. Depressive episodes will also last usually at least a couple weeks, but often times much more. I'm BP Type I, so the durations between mood swings are pretty long. I've been in a persistent, but mild hypomanic state for several months, though I think it's likely to be drug induced (lamictal). Usually serious symptoms don't really manifest until the early 20's, but who knows?

The diagnosis of bipolar disorder should be an extensive one. Ruling out anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, thyroid issues, post traumatic stress disorders. Many mental health professionals are reluctant to diagnose chronic mental health issues in younger people (people under 17-18) because hormonal changes, teen pressures and sociological issues can be major triggers for unbalanced behavior in persons who are not yet adults. It's best to talk to a counselor or teacher about your concerns or a doctor.
