I have Bipolar I with some psychotic symptoms (they're reluctant to say schizoaffective). My worst symptoms are depressive.

Schizoaffective is when you have a mood disorder along with schizophrenia. The distinguish it from "just" a mood disorder by you having psychosis while NOT in a mood episode.

My doctor mentioned it to me at one time, but he was unsure if I fully fit the criteria. He also has had me try treatment for borderline personality disorder, but it didn't help me much; as far as I know he thinks I have some sort of personality disorder but he's not sure which one I fit into. I guess it doesn't really matter; having a label for it isn't going to change it. I suppose it only affects how he would procede with treatment.
