My T is helping me get over my agorophobia. Until today we stayed in the safety of the office. Today he took me downstairs, out the elevator and halfway across the street until I really started to freak. We were going to go to a bagel place that I have never been to before.
Now therapy is something that makes me nervous. I am worried already about next week. I used to wake up on Wednesdays looking forward to my haven but now I am afraid. To top it off I have a hair cut scheduled for this afternoon at a place I have never been to and a painting class tonight. I am afraid that my therapy will push me into panic attacks rather than help me and I will no longer have anywhere safe. ![]() |

Just keep working on it. You are able to get to his office, so working on going just across the street was a good next step. Try not to be afraid of being afraid. Just take each step one at a time.
