(Didn't know where to post this so it's going here.)

Someone elsewhere posted yet another "bad news" story about a crime committed by someone expected of having bipolar disorder. I thought I'd do some research and she was right, you don't see any uplifting news stories about people with BPD featuring their accomplishments etc. in the news, even though there's (finally) tons of information out there about it, and thank God support places like here where we can share how we are living with it.

However, I found this wonderful web site by wikipedia that lists many, many, MANY famous people with BPD, tons of information about each one, and all their many accomplishments listed. They include musicians, comedians, actors, authors, artists, directors, etc. Please enjoy...

Nor when a crime is committed by someone without a mental disorder does it go out of its way to say that.

This leads to people thinking mentally ill people commit more crimes than they actually do.
