but they did. My car died on me twice today. Once right after therapy in the parking lot and once while picking up my meds at Walgreens down the street from my house.
OMG
It started back up, after letting it cool for about half an hour, but it's the only car we have and I have to take my son to his appts and get to mine. I have therapy, Physical therapy and my nurse practitioner. I cannot afford to have my car go down right now.
I am totally freaking out because I have T again tomorrow, so I hope the car doesn't do this again.
This is just another bad freakin' bipolar day for me.

ACK! I'm sorry you are having such rotten luck right now! Maybe it is just a loose connection on the battery? I hope it's not anything serious or expensive.

Big hugs from me, and big fuzzy warm hugs and sloppy kisses from kitty Grizabella!!!

Thanks. I think it's just overheating. There is a tube inside and it was super swelled up and then when it cooled off it shrunk again.
Thanks for the hugs and sloppy kitty kisses are the best!

Medid,

I am so sorry you're having a bad day....remember it will get better (just like you tell me....and it does!)

Somehow, someway, everything will be o-kay.

xoxo (sounds like a radiator hose???)

Thanks PufNStuf. Eventually, something will change. I just want it to change Noooooow. This med change/bipolar game is so old now. I don't want to play anymore.
I don't know much about cars, so I will see if my friend can come over and take a look at it. He is a Honda tech.
Thanks again!

onlymedid,

Just wondering how you are...and what your friend said about your car.

xoxo

I'm ok. The car was overheating. I think the thermostat is shot.

My husband and I are going to get a newer car in the next month or so, if my car can keep running that long!

Thanks for thinking of me!

Glad to hear it appears to be a relatively minor issue with the car.
And I hope that the Bipolar day has decided to leave!

Yeah, I just can't go very far and if I do, I have to leave enough time for the car to cool down. My husband is looking into getting me a car soon!

The Bipolar is still here, but thanks to the meds, I am doing much better.
