It’s not one I expect everyone to relate to. But basically Terri is the woman who does have everything and still suffers from this illness. It doesn’t matter how much money, love, sex, or drugs she can get her hands on, it only makes her disorder worse. And at the same time she’s more ignored and her problems are swept under the rug because everyone assumes that if you live the affluent lifestyle that she does then you must have no problems at all. Highly recommend.
Look at the celebrities who have died of "affluenza" from both diagnosed and undiagnosed MI ,be it drugs ,alcohol , or direct intentional SH .money and status can be barriers to accurate diagnoses and treatment , the numbers dont lie .

Reading "Haldol and Hyacinths" by Melody Moezzi. Just about 3 chapters in yet but she describes her thoughts well.

About half way through "Haldol and Hyaciths". Enjoying the read very much. And she's another well-off bp sufferer.

Finished "Haldol and Hyacinths". Its wonderful! I can relate to a lot of the bits about bipolar. Hyacinths are nice, and their inclusion in this book is touching. Go find acopy! I felt she was telling my story while at the same time telling ALL of our stories.

Just finished "Electro Boy" and "Gorilla and the Bird". Both were excellent.

Thanks for sharing about this book, Moose. I own the book, but only read the first chapter, maybe a year and a half ago. I'll try to pick it up again. I recall being a little bored reading it, but I'm sure I didn't give it a good enough chance. I do like Melody Moezzi a lot. I often read her articles in Bp Magazine, and have watched a couple of her Youtube videos. My husband and I also saw her speak once, in New York City.
