So it's my 1st day on Tegretol 200mg (x2) and Lorien 20mg and I feel BAKED! But fully functional...Waakaakah! Had slight nausea and a dry mouth but those went away. Shoulders and neck are quite tense though. But if feeling like I smoked a joint is the only side effect then I definitely DON'T mind! :-D What do you guys think??

 I hope these medications help your mood.  I am also on tegretol as my main mood stabilizer (600mg) and I found there were basically no side effects. Hopefully you find that as well! |

I've only heard of Lorien, but don't know anyone on it.
Never heard of the other. Dry mouth is common. Any side-effects you need to try get through, and after 2 weeks you should notice some improvement. Keep your pdoc informed around what you are going through and feeling though |

wow that's a weird side effect but it doesn't sound too bad. I have never heard of that medicine before.

((sdgirl)) Tegretol is part of the Carbamazepine family, (hope that helps 2 clarify) PC peeps, I'm s0 not complaining :-) ((suga)) My dear friend, you have taught me well...I'm documenting everything,2 keep track of progress/ possible regression. haha - sounds like you're in a lekker place!
I just got a referal from someone I met online for a really good T and may pursue it - just checking that medical aid will foot the bill. Just not getting out of the depression and the pdoc has asked me to taper off my anti-dep - I know the side effects of those tabs can sometimes be depression, but scared of stopping my meds. I just want drugs to make me HAPPY! And stop the fatigue and anxiety |

Aaaw poor baby,hope u get out of the rabbit whole soon! MWAH + GIANT BEAR HUG! My medz kudnt hav arrived at a better time actually. I got 2 keep my manic me 4 a full week,and the medz came just as I was starting 2 slip... You're right, I'm in a lekker place, and 2 think I nearly didn't take them (that whole pride thing + I was in a good mood coz I just saw bf...) glad logic won in the end tho! I hope this lasts!
