So what exactly is a mixed episode? I have had lethargy but all may other symptoms point to hypomania. Is that what she might be talking about? Lethary, irritability, easily distracted, mind-racing and tons of ideas on things I should be doing but dont because of the lethargy, talking faster than usual...those are the symptoms recently. Any idea would be greatly appreciated...I will ask my dr when I see her in about a week. Just thought I would check it out here.

Good question Melissa. I think it depends on how long the episode lasts. There are so many sub-sets of labels within the BP spectrum that it can be pretty confusing. It seems to still confuse the experts too.
