so i think i might be bipolar and i am making an appointment with a T,, but i have no clue what to say. i am HORRIBLE at just saying stuff...n e help?

if you have "highs" and "lows", tell the T. list your symptoms. generally, a Pdoc diagnoses and prescribes meds and the T follows up with therapy. let us know how it goes. xoxox pat

Go to the quizzes section and take a couple of the quizs. Print them out and take them with you to the therapist. S/He will look at them and then tell you to see your regular Dr. Take the quizs with you and show them to them. They can then ask you better clearer questions. And KEEP asking them questions!!! If they give you meds, ask about them, side effects, what they do, how they can help you what he thinks is the problem. Information is power and it is also enlightening.
