Well, things are pretty out of sorts for me.

Okay, I have been off all medicine for a long time. I only take anti-anxiety medicine, and my health meds.

I take Melatonin for sleep. It works pretty well.

I have not seen a therapist since May. I called for a emergency session and got 30 min. She did not ask to set another appt. So, I was like fine....

I broke my glasses Monday and my insurance will not pay for another set for another yr. I was suppose to get new ones in Dec, but they want ppl to wait 3 yrs instead of two.
I have no money. I am trying to figure what I can do.

I am diabetic. I told my medical doc I can't see when I drive very well. No one can do anything to help me.

I didn't take my diabetic meds today. Pissed. I have a hard time seeing. Just irritable.

Nevertheless, life sucks. I hate it with a passion! I want to just disappear!!!

I am sorry life sucks so bad right now. Not being able to see is a HUGE thing. I know you said you have no money but I know Walmart has complete pairs starting at 38 bucks.

The walmart here does not do glasses. Perhaps in another town. I will have to get a new prescription as well. As the place won't give me mine. It is an idea on the list, thank you.

I'm sorry you're feeling so bad - no fun. It seems that at the moment it's a "when it rains, it pours" type deal going on... But it has to stop "raining" eventually! Just know that we're here to support you!!

Hope you feel better!

I think you live in the US so you may try your local Lyons Club. They will help you with glasses. I am sorry everything else is so bad. Keep posting. Maybe you'll feel better.

This is a great idea! I alway donate my past prescriptions and never would have thought of it! (Still have one pair to donate... not nearsighted with astigmatism by chance? ) Amazonmom is right -- it is a huge thing to be able to see correctly!
So, TinaL, your thing says NM. Looked it up and here's a link to New Mexico chapters:
http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/find-a-club.php?f=1&city=%&cs=NEW%20MEXICO
The local chapters should be able to steer you in the right direction.
Your place won't give you your prescription? That sounds just plain wrong on their part. I think they are obligated to!
It sure sounds like laur88 said... sometimes when it rains it pours, and that can feel so overwhelming. One thing at a time and let us know how it goes, ok?

Just a big HUGGGGGGGGGGGG from me, everyone else has it nailed down. Take good care of your blood levels, OK? It's a rough time for you right now and you don't need it getting rougher. Hope the tide will turn soon.
