Hello--

My 15 year old daughter has been inpatient for about a week now and the doctors finally have a clear diagnosis--BP1. They seem more confident about the medical treatment now (cut out all andi-depressents and boosted the mood stabliziers). Therapy now can be targeted as well. I know there's a long way to go, but I'm feeling more confident now that we might get our daughter back some day--she'll be able to lead the life she'd come to love.

Hi dayton.

It's good to hear that they can finally work on a recovery plan for your daughter. Remember that the road to recovery is often a long and winding one. I sincerely hope that they are able to get her the proper medicaton and therapy to help her. In the mean time we'll be here every step to support you in our own way. Please keep us posted, and let me know when your daughter gets home.

That is good news, dayton 52..I'm glad she's getting off the anti-Ds..I was pretty worried about that one. I hope things go more smoothly for your whole family, and we will definitely be here when you need support.
