Been Manic for a week, i'm cycling rapdily right now, and then last night, i kinda got a really bad cold, and had to go to bed at 8, when i havent been sleeping at all recently.
MY heads still manic and my body cant cope with it.
I saw my care worker on tuesday, and she has got me an appt for tuesday where i will go on quetiapine, because my illness isnt manageable without meds now, an appt with a psychologist in jan..

AH HA this is exactly what has happen to me!!!!! I got sick with strep throte, but i'm hypo-manic so i can't sleep....well your body has a way of knocking you out when it's DONE. The one day first day i got sick...i fell asleep at work for 2 hours? Got home at 8 and went to bed...woke up the next day at 8am or so...and only stayed up till 10am before just going back to bed. It's really a strange feeling...i mean your body is exhausted but your mind is like what the hell do you think your doing ...i'm not going to bed.

I get depressed with colds and flus, but I guess it could just as easily go the other way, sort of being stuck in your head, thinking too much...
