Nearly passed out at the dinner table in a restaurant tonight. I had just finished my meal and I suddenly started feeling all weak and shakey like I did when I was on the higher dose of depakote. I ended up panicking instead and that probably brought my blood pressure back up so that I didn't pass out. Phew. In front of the inlaws too...

I had been dreading that dinner for a week.

Awwww, BNLsMOM... that probably didn't help. Please do remember it's not as if we can choose when panic attacks will strike and sometimes they're just dang perplexing! (Like going to sleep -- wth?! )
Hope you are feeling better about the whole thing soon...

It was only the second one I have ever had in a public place. The first one I ever had in public took me by surprise and I didn't know it was a panic attack until I went home and googled my symptoms. I was ready to go to the hospital until I read that I was probably just panicking.

I usually have them at home in anticipation of something (Which I then try hard to avoid). I have had one or two in front of my T.
