Over the past couple of weeks it seems that I've been on a continual roller coaster ride. I'm sure some of it has to do with my current job situation, which is non-existant. In August I needed to take a short medical leave to do some med. adjustment and while I was gone they filled my position.
Been looking but so far coming up empty. I can't believe the stress and anxiety I've been feeling everytime I go for an interview or even think about it. I've tried to explain just how I've been feeling to family and my friends but they just don't seem to get it. My sister thinks that just because I'm on meds I'm suddenly cured. Tried to explain that it doesn't work that way and that I still struggle on a daily basis, sure things are better but there are still ups and downs. Lately I've just been feeling like a failure even though I know that I'm not. Just trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel. __________________ "Nothing should be prized more highly than the value of each day." ~ Goethe |

I'm sorry that you're having such a rough time. BP is no piece of cake, is it? It's funny how sometimes people who don't suffer from these kinds of illnesses think a pill solves it all. Too bad for us that's not usually the case. It's also hard for people not like us to understand. My ex never really seemed to get it either. Have you talked to your therapist about what you're going through right now? He/she might be able to offer up some helpful advise. In any case, I certainly hope that things will improve for you very soon. I know how hard it is trying to find a job. Always rough in the best of circumstances. Good luck to you. Keep us posted. Take care.

Thanks to both of you. It is so comforting to know that I have support, understanding, and people who know what it is like inside my head!
Thanks again! __________________ "Nothing should be prized more highly than the value of each day." ~ Goethe |

My family thinks the same way. But the pills don't always relieve everything. It's not an instant cure. People have a hard time understanding that sometimes, though. I hope you can feel better soon. I know how tough BP is. Take care of you.
