I've been off Seroquel for 2 months now. I've lost some weight so that's good, but I still feel so bad. I had the flu, now a leftover cough for 3 weeks. Now an ear infection and my doctor wants to test me for asthma. I feel anxious, but it levels out a little bit when I take a Xanax.
Besides the physical stuff, I am depressed. I don't want to go anywhere. I force myself to go to work. I force myself to go at least one place on the weekends, but I don't like it. Anti depressants have thrown me into a manic phase in the past. I see my pdoc on Thursday, so I don't know what he will want to do. Last time, we discussed upping my Lamictal, but I don't know if that will help. Any ideas?

Went through something similar. Upping Lamictal and Lithium helped me. I hope you get some relief soon.

Have some compassion for yourself. I'm going through similar stuff myself so know that you're not alone. I have my pdoc appointment in an hour (i'm shaking right now lol) and I have no idea whats gonna happen. anti depressants make me very sick, manic, suicidal, dissociative.
I forced myself to go out yesterday and it got my mind out of the puddle of awful it was in, at least for a little bit. Its goo your trying to get out, keep looking for things you like to do. maybe join a support group IRL so you can use that to get out of the house and socialize with people who understand what youre going through. |

Thanks for the thoughts, everyone. I've actually been looking for a support group IRL, but there don't appear to be any around. My pdoc doesn't know of any, neither did the hospital where I went for inpatient. I'm going to keep looking. I think talking with people on here is a help, but IRL always makes it seem, pardon the repeat word, more real.
