Does anyone know of any mood disorder medications that are safe to take while breastfeeding for bi polar disorder? NEED help

lamictal many others. dr hale is the national expert on meds in breastfeeding at www.infantrisk.com also check out www.womensmentalhealth.org What is going on? How old is your little one? HUGS

i breastfeed and started taking lamictal when my son turned 6 mo. my prescriber is very conservative about meds so she wanted to wait. ive been on it almost a month and my son is fine.
