No, I guess it's a joke. I went to my T who I really like and we had a session and at the end he said well, Emma, do you think it's time you don't need to make another app? And I'm going well, I do like to come and talk to you. He said, you can call me anytime, and if you really need an appointment, we can schedule you one, but you don't need to see me on a regular basis. I said ok. He said it was a pleasure having me and he never had anyone quite like me.
I better go. My cell phone is ringing. I know it's my son. Love to all. Owl. ![]() |

I know that I would be worried about not seeing my psychologist any more. She helps me monitor my mood and... life, I guess. For years I saw her every week, now it is every other week. The first time she suggested dropping from once a week to every other week was upsetting and I wasn't ready for it. The next time she brought it up I was ready for it and it was okay. My psychiatrist wants me to have ongoing therapy.

I think it's great that you're getting to this point. It's encouraging for the rest of us, I think.
<33333333333333333333333 Congrats! |

Oh how i've been there a few times. Especially during a normal mood. T is like "maybe we skip Tuesday, and see each other Thursday?" and i'm like "ok." ya know?
But good job reaching this point. Really. This is great news! ![]()

Well done!
How do you feel about it? My T suggested to drop from once a week to once every other week just a while ago, and I freaked. We talked about it, and she assured me that we'd discuss the process and timeline when we got there. That there's nothing to stress about. But remember you still have your therapists here too, lol |

![]() Keep in touch with your T anyway, since BP is cyclical, and it sure can be handy not having to build therapeutic relationships from scratch again. I envy you. My T fired me not because I was well, but because I was such a hopeless case that he wanted me neurochemically stabilised before he was able to get anywhere with me. LOL. 5 months later, and still nothing has changed. Sigh. ![]()

I guess it's good, but he's so good, too. But most of the time all he would do is sit & listen. He would add a little. I think he thinks I'm doing good from what I've been through as a child and teenager and now all the health problems. But today is April 1st! I am to retire April 30th! Thanks, everyone, for all your encouragement. Love, Owl.

Hey! Great news! Obviously, you've learned the skills you need to cope and you're strong enough to handle it! That is super.
