Went to see therapist yesterday and he to me down to the pdoc. They wanted to hospitilize me but I wouldnt agree to that. So the pdoc gave me a shot of adavan (sp) and a 2 mg pill of the same stuff and told me to go home and take that pill and three 80 mg geodon and take my but to bed. I have to admit I slept pretty well. I may still be alittle hypomanic but not full blown manic like I was.

That's great! I didn't know they could give shots for that kind of stuff. Glad you got some rest. Best of luck to you. At least they helped you and didn't make you do anything you didn't want to do. I'm always worried about that kind of thing.

Not a doctor just from research have found that yes there is also zyprexa, abilify, for urgent treatment of sudden or sever manic or mixed episodes plus agitation. There are more but these were the ones I found recently through my researching.
