I have been on a variety of antidepressants followed by depressive episodes of course. My pdoc wants to try me on an MAOI patch called Emsam. I have been in the hospital for 18 days having ECT and the washout period to prepare to take Emsam. Next Monday I see my pdoc (she's on vacation this week) and should start the Emsam. Anyone have any experience with Emsam?

They tried me on ensam a few years ago. Unfortunately, it caused my blood pressure to go so low that I kept passing out, so it was discontinued before it really had kicked in.
