Hi all,

I haven't been on the site in a while simply because I didn't have internet. Well, I recently received some retroactive (sp?) payment from disability because they messed up the amount that they paid me for several months. So my brother (he lives with me) and I purchased some things we've wanted for a while: 2 new loveseats, a new rug, a side table, a lamp, a laptop, cordless phone, as well as a TV, internet, and home phone bundle. This lump sum of money has truly been a blessing for us, and it's great to be able to come on this site again!

Mentally, I have been doing pretty good. I'm happy to say that I have not been in the hospital or SI'ed in over 2 months! I'm also considering getting a job, as well as obtaining my last 2 high school credits. I've also been exercising and trying to eat healthy...and I've lost about 10 pounds thus far. I'm almost back to my old weight.

Well, I guess that's about all there is for my update. I missed everyone lots!

Glad to hear that things have improved.

(((((Melissa))))),

Good to hear that you are doing well & things are looking up for you. Take it slow & continue to be good to yourself without pushing.......& you will continue in this great direction.

Glad to see you back here also....have been wondering about how you were doing...missed seeing your posts. Feels so isolated without having the internet...glad you are back to having it.
