Hi everyone! I just wanted to share this with everyone, as it made me smile. I'm having a bit of a rough day (my mom is out of state and I had to take her sickly cat to the vet, found out my mom is having a brain biopsy tomorrow, medication is out of whack and I found out my psychiatrist appt is cancelled... the list just grows!), but my daughter has been an absolute gem today. Every time I started to drift off on the couch, which I absolutely hate doing, she'd gently pat me on the cheek and say, "Mommy, wake up. Wake up Mommy!" When I didn't have the motivation to keep folding clothes, she started picking up the laundry and handing it to me, making it easier to stay on task. When I laid her down for the night, she kept drawing pictures in her bed and bringing them to me to hang up next to my desk.

Having children and being bipolar isn't always easy, but days like today remind me how special kids really can be!
Thanks for this!
