So after this weekend's rediculous events involving heavy drinking, not taking meds, and going full blown manic, I have set a new goal/challenge for myself: No alcohol til I go out of town on Sept. 27th. Wed 9/7 was day #1, so its officially day #2. While I'm on shift here at the mine its easy because I stay here and have no access to booze. My 4 days off, however, will be another story.
So, 20 days with no alcohol. Can I do it? Not sure. I went 6 weeks when I first got out of the hospital over 2 years ago and i dont drink nearly as much as i did then. But that 6 weeks was also the longest i ever went since I started drinking heavy at 16.
Wish me luck. I'm gonna need all the support I can get.

I wish I had this much support the last time. I think I was too blind to see it then too. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can... the little alcoholic that could. lol

The signature is actually a t-shirt you can get from cafepress. I'm not bold enough to buy or wear said shirt but I liked it for a signature.
