Well she is talking to me now and Im the one who had to apologize even though she is the one who left me at the hopital go figure. I guess I apologized so it would all end and we could get back to normal what ever that is. I know that she admits to being bipolar but wont get treatment but I wish Icould force her it would make her live so much easier. I think her bipolar got worse a year ago when my dad passed away. Well thanks for listening

My dad was also BP and would not go on meds. and I know he would have lived a happier life if he had been diagnosed and put on meds. Meds. scared him because he saw how I was on disability and he thought he wouldn't be able to run his business if he were on meds. However, I think he would have handled it just fine or maybe even better. He is gone now and I wish he could have been happier in life.

Sometimes we have to swallow our pride with people like saying you are sorry just to get things back to normal again. I have learned to pick my battles with people.

Could you possibly call the doctor she sees to get her anti depressant & possibly intervene via giving her doctor useful information? My mother's BP got severe when her bf of 11 years was hauled away to prison. It was like night & day & the mother I knew when I was growing up was no longer present. Even with her prior drug addiction, everything took a turn for the worst... I wish I had called her doctor sooner, but I was only a young teenager. I didn't understand the HIPPA laws well enough & thought I wouldn't be able to talk to the doctor at all-- Little did I know that you can't be discouraged from giving the doctor important information about her condition outside of the office!! It really is unfortunate when you love someone, but see them doing really stupid things & you can't help them.
Thanks for this!
