Today I made a decision to help a friend out with her meds. She gets them a week at a time and needs them handed to her daily or she will take them all at once and be out in two days. She is a serious pill addict. I told my husband about this decision and he wasnt happy at all. He said I am getting involved in something that I shouldnt be. Her boyfriend refuses to do it anymore and she has no family. I was only trying to help. BTW this is the same friend who always tries to get adderall off me if any of you remember. So I told my husband I would give them to her until Friday cause she wont see her case worker again till them and I need to let the case worker know that I cant do it . I really didnt see any harm in doing it but hubby said it will probably end very badly and then I will be caught in the middle of it. Any thoughts?

I have a friend who doesn't handle her own meds. The nurse at the county mental health services does it and she goes to pick them up every Monday. She arranged for this through her case manager. By being responsible, what will you do when she takes all of them in one day and comes to you for some more?
