And I mean no sleep including naps.

I didn't sleep for 2 weeks straight when I was on Wellbutrin. Went into psychosis and almost ended up in the hospital again.

I made it 52 hours straight once. It started off with drinking on the porch by myself, with others joining occasionally, for 19 hours straight.

Two days. Doesn't sound like a lot, but I was on the go the entire time, being manic. Finally was told to go to the PER. I was told to take Seroquel for sleep - I was currently on it. I slept 18 hours or so and was fine.
Thanks for this!

The longest I have gone is 3 1/2 days. I take something to put me to sleep after hitting 3 days.

I'm not bipolar, but my reasons for not sleeping were because of PTSD. I went five days straight. It felt like I was dying.

I think like 3 days but I don't know if it was due to hypomania or not. I remember having a ton of papers and projects due all at once in college and needing to plow through to get it all in on time.

I remember pulling a few all nighters in a row in college. Between classes, schoolwork, night job and fencing meets and fun I think I went three or so days.
Thanks for this!

The longest I've ever gone was about 2 days. This, however, was due to international travel and not bp. It was hell, but it was worth it.

I've never been manic (only hypo), so I've never gone days on end w/out sleep because of a high. I can sometimes get away with 3 hrs when hypo, and then mentally laugh at those mortals who need caffeine after twice as much sleep the next morning! Never mind the fact that 99% of the time, I am one of those "mere mortals"....

Same time frame, same reason. Wasn't hell though. Definitely affected the BP. Flipped me hypo and I loved every minute of it. Funny thing is that I wasn't dx'd at that time. Didn't think anything particularly unusual, but others commented on energy level. It was way up there... Went and went and went. I did sleep during those 3 weeks, but I don't remember being tired. And nobody could figure out how I got so much done or be so "bright eyed and bushy tailed" any hour of day or night...
This happened on 2 different trips a couple years apart. Looking back, now I know why.

Other times of lesser duration have usually been on account of work (recent). When finally getting a chance to go to sleep can't because I'm so wired from being up. (Eventually do, but then getting up from that am a mess.) Those don't kick me hypo. The wired part is intense, but only a few hours. And very unpleasant.

When I was escalating into mania (it happened gradually and took 6-7 months) I slept less and less. Months 5 and 6 I slept about 3 or 4 hours, then 2 hours out of 24. The last 4 weeks (leading up to hospitalization) I slept 1 or none during 24 hours.

Without closing my eyes at all...3 days.
With a couple of half an hour naps, 2 weeks.
