I never realized how much rainy days affect my mood. And I don't mean a simple "Oh no, it's raining, I can't go outside today!" No, it actually makes me feel depressed! It bothers me that something as small as the weather can have such a negative effect on my mood.

Can anyone relate? And if so, how do you deal with it?

it's like that for me as well. which explains my depression now a bit, it's been raining the past three days here.

Nope. Unless it rains hard for days on end. Then it's more of a lack of motivation than depression per se. Which is probably a good thing, since I live in a rainy place(!) And chose to. I am affected by rooms that are kept dark too much, which is probably related, even if it isn't the same. BF goes for the "cave" thing, and I dealt by telling him, but that wouldn't work for the weather(!)

The Weather here in Central New York is about to take a turn for the worst. From October to May it is continuously cloudy. If it's not cloudy it is either Raining or it's freezing. I want out of here bad too....

Yep, the greyness drags me down. I still go out, take the dog for a walk, meet friends, go for coffee but inside I feel a little dead!

The lack of sun gets me down. I try to take advavtage of dreary days to do projects that I've been putting off, like organizing a closet or cleaning the bathroom.lol
And if I'm able to sit still for any period of time I will watch a movie or read.
