I have been so irritable lately. It's driving me insane! Last night I got so upset with my husband I actually gave myself a headache! I couldn't breathe it was so bad. This is one of the worst symptoms I have. Anyone else feel this way?

The only time I was like that was when I was on the antidepressant, Remeron.

I couldn't stand even having my husband rub my back or put his arm around me. I was very irritable to people and I couldn't help myself, so I went off of Remeron and was back to being nice again.

Countless times, foreverbp...
Off the hook.
It was far more frequent before I had proper dx and meds.

Once, when manic I got very irritated at a woman in the car in front of me for wearing her sunglasses on the top of her head! Truly irrational.

I have been there for sure!! There have been times that I've gotten so upset over dumb things that I've made myself cry from anger. It usually passes within a couple hours but it makes me feel really bad when I take it out on other people.

I actually feel like that is rational. I can't stand when someone is snoring and keeps me awake.

Yeah but Joanna.... I wasn't even sleeping... She fell asleep in her recliner and I was on the couch.... It ruined my whole night!

I have deff been in your boat, alot.In times like this, I isolate myself, try to rationalize logically and use positive thinking. irritability can cause u to do things that u may regret later. It is not a good place to be so climb out of that pit, it's part of your disability so you have to learn how to cope and manage it so u aren't always miserable! I wish you nothing but the best! I hope i didn't come off harsh or irritating!!
