I am 'stuck' at work, sat at a computer in an empty workroom, because I can't imagine ever having the energy to get up, get on a bus and go home. The whole process sounds utterly terrifying. I just want there to be a bed nearby that I can curl up in until it all goes away.

What time is it over there?

Espritlibra, I am really sorry you are feeling stuck at work. Is there anyone that cod come and pick you up instead. I really feel for you, I have been there myself. I really hope you find a way to make it home to your bed.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think it was around 4pm when I posted, so only an hour after school finished. And I was on a bus home by 5. I do often find it difficult to leave - I guess because I know coming home isn't going to 'cure' the way I'm feeling, so I can't see a reason to put myself through the effort of getting there.

Have had my legs go numb, but luckily no stairs involved & made it to the car. I was still trying to work back then but failed.
