I remember your other thread regarding your EMDR therapy, do you think it's a reaction from it that your feeling? I know you were very upset after your last session. I did look up EMDR because I wasn't sure what it was and from what I gather your being forced to reexamine and integrate memories that are traumatic or painful in a step by step process or something like that with the help of a Tdoc? Anyways, maybe you could get a message to your Tdoc that you're not doing so well?

It does sound as if something from your last session wasn't resolved satisfactorily. I think dijmart's suggestion that you get hold of tdoc is a good one. Especially if you are feeling that it's not safe for you to be around people, your therapist needs to get back with you now.

Do you have a way to make emergency contact? If so, do it now. If not, can you contact pdoc?

If nothing else is possible, a hospital may be a safe haven--given your situation.

I am so sorry you're going thru this now by yourself. Your need someone you can trust to support you. Please stay in touch with us here.

Hi everyone, nothing seemed real last night, I couldn't understand what was going on in my head, I'm still not sure now.
My anxieties awful right now, my stomach hurts with a nervous feeling and I'm depressed, scared it's goin to come back tonight when I'm alone.
I went to work today and managed to get through it.
I've been having appointments with my support worker every few days and see her again on monday, there is a crisis line I can call but I can't do that when I'm in that state.

Are your parents completely un-supportive? My sons 18 and if he was suffering like you are I would want him to tell me....
If they aren't... is there anyone else you can count on or get together with to try to get you to focus on something else?
Hang in there

What's MZG mean? Your signature?

Will your folks be home tonight? Actually, it's already tonight for you. Are you alone when they're there? Do they have a clue?

I wish there were somewhere you could go tomorrow, somewhere you could stay until Monday when you can see your support worker. I wish there were worm holes & you could come to New Mexico. Well, there are worm holes (no, wrong words--how do we take short cuts thru space?) I just don't know how to find them.

Stay in touch here, widgets. Let us know how you're doing, how you're feeling. Do hang on.

Widgets i can relate with not calling a crises line when actually i probably should but these days i call my boyfriend and he'll talk to me. Before my boyfriend i didn't have anyone to talk to which is quiet lonely and makes things worse some times. But please keep strong. Maybe try to find a distraction today. I keep hearing about grounding tools, i myself need to work on, but do you have any that you could do. Maybe some would help even if you feel out of control. ?

I wish you well widgets!

It's not that they're un-supportive they just don't understand it, and think I can and should control it. Plus they've been drinking 2 nights in a row and then arguing.

I have a job interview tomorrow and need to be ok for it.
Maybe that's where the anxiety is coming from.

MZG is my initials.

Hmm, yeh, them drinking and arguing probably doesn't help matters...that's for sure.

Also, if they don't understand it they should go to a Tdoc appt with you and ask questions, so they better know how to help you....

As far as you being able to control it....that depends. It depends if it's part of the chemical imbalance or if it's something you CAN control with therapy techniques. If someone told me to control my mania, at the time I would've laughed in their face while cussing them out!

Good luck on your interview! Let us know how it goes...
