I'm on Latuda. I'm notified my therapist, who is connected to my psychiatrist, that I am going off my antipsychotic (staying on my mood stabilizer). So I tried looking up Latuda withdrawl symptoms. There is absolutely NOTHING. Latuda is so new, there are no sites that say anything about it. Any ideas?

PS, to those concerned about my going off my antipsychotic, if it becomes glaringly obvious that I need to go back on it, I will. I'm not anti-drug. I'm anti-drug when its purpose was temporary (a psychotic episode)

Yeh it is really new. I am not sure it has been out there long enough for people to be coming off of it in high enough numbers to generate any data. Heck, not sure there are enough people on it yet to generate any data other than what they used to get it passed the FDA.

I am on Latuda myself. It is from the same drug family as Seroquel and Geodon. The side effects, while not all the same, are similar between the drugs. The other drugs in that family might be something to look at for a general guide, especially if the same withdrawal symptom appears for multiple drugs in that family.

I've been on Latuda for about 2 months. I have taken aa (3) over the years and they either didn't work or the side effects were too bad. I don't remember those and don't plan to come of Latude now. I did ask my pdoc if latuda would be for the long term and he said yes.

This surprised me since all my reading said to use it for a period, sorta of fix then get off it. I am so drug sensitive I have no doubt I ill have a heck of a time coming off of it. And you're right, info is very hard to find. My RX didn't know a thing!

For anecdotal side effects and perhaps withdrawal symptoms, you could try www.askapatient.com. (I hope I am allowed to post that...if not feel free to delete this response.)
