And having brought my mom... My pdoc put me on what I asked. I asked for Propranolol (Indural) for my restlessness. Which should also help with my random racing heart. I was also put on Ambien for the insomnia brought on my the abilify.

When I first started my medication journey, I was totally against takign a medication for a medication. Having just finished working in the mental health field, I saw that the majority of my resident's medications were prescribed to counter a side effect. I didn't want that for myself..

I've given in. If this is what it takes to have even keel, then I will take it.
So now I am on:
Trileptal 300 mg BID
Abilify 10 MG qHS
and for side effects
Propranolol (idk the mg) BID
Ambien (idk my mg) qHS

I hope I don't forget them... I should probably memorize them but they have been changing so often lately.

Wishing you some Peace and Love and medications that work

It's still not working I'm goin nuts with the feeling.

Am I being impatient or is it not going to work.

My Ambien, which I took a year ago and worked great, isn't working either.

I'm starting to feel really hopeless about this again.

my pdoc told me to take some time off the ambien, then go back on. I think she meant like a week, but even a couple of days wiil help. I just don't have any coffee (or just have one decaf only) so I make sure I can sleep without it. I don't know how old you are, but I am very sensitive to coffee and it will give me heart symptoms, but as soon as I go back to one cup (or one "grande") per day I am okay again. cannot do two grandes, two days in a row or it's palpitation city for me.
