Crap, I'm getting pretty hypomanic, and am nowhere near ready to sleep, even though I have to get up in 4 hours! So restlesssss...

...I should never drink caffeinated beverages before going to bed while manic!

*sigh* When will I ever learn.

Look after yourself - hope it stays hypo and doesn't become full-blown mania
Thanks for this!

I doubt that will happen, I'm only BPII. More likely I'll crash into depression again in a few days' time.

:-( I know that feeling. Find myself wishing for the hypomania of last week when I feel like this.
Thanks for this!

I actually thought that the general recommendation is no caffeine after Noon on all days, not just when elevated. I would not be able to go to sleep for sure after coffee at night, I would have jitters, rapid heart rate and what not. I think it is a pretty normal reaction. If you adopt the habit to not drinking them at least at night on ALL days, it would be that much easier to follow this rule when you are manic.
Thanks for this!

It would be easier. I drink coffee at all hours and far too much of it and too strong. But I can usually sleep unless I an manic.

Hanners take care, I hope you get some sleep tonight.
Thanks for this!
