I am lonely today and don't know why. If somebody was here I wouldn't have anything to say to them anyway. Actually, I wouldn't have anything to say because there are too many things. Such a strange feeling to feel a bunch of things at the same time like, lonely, liking being alone, happy, and sad, or anything else you can think of that are all opposites. I scare myself. And nobody will even read this anyway because I don't think I've posted five things. Why is that a rule anyway? It always works that way for me. When things feel critical to me, there is no help at that moment. Guess I just have to look at the fact that it all seems to cycle around, and I'm still here. I hope this passes soon. I have people counting on me. I have people who look to me for answers and comfort. Now I have to go to an interview I don't want to go to. Not afraid to, just don't want to.

Ahhh I know the feeling. It's confusing to say the least. Welcome to PC!! You must have had five posts cause I can read this. I'm sorry your feeling lonely ( and not ). I don't have a lot of advice expect to maybe try to take one feeling at a time and just try to slow it down a bit. I hope your interview goes well, and I hope this shall pass soon for you too.

Hey there - I have these lonely days too. It's my own choice to work alone at home, but I try to make sure I get regular social contact so I don't lose touch too much.

You're clearly a survivor, so keep hanging in there - and good luck with the interview! I hope it's a good thing for you.

Thank you for your words AniManiac and Anika! It was really nice to come home and find that somebody actually connected with me. I feel some better for it. As for the interview, it was with an agency. I've been job hunting on my own, but one of the jobs was through this agency, and I couldn't tell that at the time. I got there and was sat down with a BOAT LOAD of paper to read and fill out. It felt sooooo overwhelming that I took it back up front and told them thank you, but I am going to keep looking on my own. Not sure what the look meant that this woman gave me, but that's OK. I keep being told I'm over qualified. Somebody will hear me when I say I need less stress, and I will get a fitting job. I just hope it's soon, for the money, and something useful to be doing.

I've had that same experience. I'm also looking for employment, and I've thought to going to a temp agency. Right there with you on the boatload of paperwork to read and fill out. Good luck on your job search.
