Hey ManicMiner. You made it back so I guess the doc made it through you last session. HAHA ... I hope everything went ok with the skate party and your busy day you had planned. Maybe there was some time for a little sleep in a bed instead of the truck!
Thanks for this!

It was all a blast. this is actually night 3 of 5. worked 4pm-2pm yesterday into today. if i would have reported it correctly with the holiday i could have logged 19 hours of triple time to the tune of $1025 for a single days work! too bad i'd get in big trouble

Bet it is. Sounds like they give you too many hours anyway. Anyone who needs a cot upstairs or sleeps an hour or two in the truck because you have to be back in so soon works a lot of hours.

i'm only required to work 12 and with getting paperwork straightened out the max i would ever "need" to work would be 14. the 16-20 hour shifts are my own doing lol, but they do seem to be taking advantage of my work ethic

I think that is more common than most know. At my last job I used to work from 6am till about 9 or 10 pm five days a week then usually I would work from about 8am till about 8pm on the sixth day. Many overnights there. Looking back I did that with several jobs. It was my own doing. But I felt responsible. Now I work 7am - 4pm five days a week most of the time. Very little responsibility other than what I have to complete on my own. It is a nice break.
