Feeling great tonight. I know from the past this will probably last any where from 2-3 hours to 2 days. I just hope for the 2 days. I know what is on the backside of this but it has been so long since I felt this way. I will cross that other bridge when I get to it. I will just enjoy this part for now.

Keep on rockin in the free world. I've been ridin high since spring and im trying to keep it up so i dont fall into the depths of hell i went through last winter. just gotta keep active and not let the winter blues and cabin fever hit me so hard this year.

I think it will be different because i got a new job that i actually like and a new woman that actually understands me and likes me for who I am, not who i was a summer ago like the last one.

Here's to hope, the only thing we all have in common

Hope you get through the winter "Ridin High".

Not really sure ... think this is HypoMania for me. The PDoc comes out with so many terms that I am not so sure of. Think she said something like Rapid Cycling and Hypomania. Guess I need to pay better attention or read up on this. HAHA ... I do ask questions but the memory is shot. Mostly experience depression. So I love to see this.

Anika ... Now you know I said feeling high not getting high. HAHA ... I know where this goes from here. And I do not look forward to it. Been there before and most of you have too. But it is nice to have the break from either depressed or just no feeling at all.

I have energy right now. I have been cleaning and straightening. Wow that is quite a feat for me. And it is almost 4am.

Thoughts are racing but seem so clear now too.

I know this is not a good thing because I know at some point the other side will be coming ...

I'd give anything for a hypomanic episode right now. I'm bored and not looking forward to the holidays. At work, everyone is cranky and negative all the time. I love my family and boyfriends family but it's hard putting on a happy face for 3 days straight while we're visiting everyone. I'd rather be home watching my kids play with their toys.

I'm not depressed really. Lamictal for 2 months now and I'm just feeling "Blah" No exciting thoughts, no depressive thoughts for the first time ever.

Oh, dejavu, sure hope you woke up feeling fine! Like Anika I have trouble just enjoying the high, always worry about what comes after.
Sorry I missed the announcement last night. Would have been fun to rejoice thru the night!!

This is the same thing that I feel most of the time since the meds ... "Blah" Probably last weeks TDoc session triggered all of this.

I'm just on my way out, but how does a T session trigger hypomania? And is there any way to ease yourself down? Seems to me someone on this forum doesn't crash so badly anymore but can't remember ...

Thanks RoadRunner ... During these, my mind doesn't seem to stand still long enough to worry. Not sleeping much already so not at all last night. But the organizing and cleaning is coming along.

I have figured out that the dust bunnies recognize a broom. Once you stick it under the bed, they all run.

After my daughter got up, the energy went her way. We had a good day.

If this were not such a small town, I would do something ... Oh well. Maybe back to organizing later. I am sure I can keep myself occupied. HAHA
Thanks for this!

Hope that the high lasts longer than you're expecting! I too sometimes experience a post-therapy high; it's exhilarating to talk to someone who (kind of, sort of) understands you and accepts you.

That session was more of a "never want to go there again" session. Next couple of days were bad. Then this.
