Oh, moose, *many hugs!*!

I did that once after a reading festival. I was so sure I'd written down the right lot number where I'd left my car, but I hadn't. I was so sure that I insisted the security people call the city police & report it stolen. INSISTED?

When they turned it up almost immediately two lots away I was so ! Wanted to disappear in a sinkhole, but no--had to walk to my car while all three guys watched!!! Grr... Why do these things have to happen?

Roadrunner
Thanks for this!

Oh, no! I'm sorry! The girls and I had one of those moments at the airport last time we were there. We walked all over the place looking for the car and really started thinking someone had taken it! Fortunately, we found it right before I called security!

Moose! I had that happen after a very large concert one time -- being sure I knew where it was (but wasn't!) and even with much wandering found neither the car nor the people I was with. (Many years before I had a cell phone, or I'd probably have called too!) Oh yeah, I was freaking. It's totally understandable and I'm so glad you found it!

I had my car taken in the middle of the night once. I walked outside to go to work and it was gone. So now I get these panicked moments where I can't see my truck and I worry it was stolen! So I have to go check. Also had my wallet stole so I freak out that my wallet is missing!

It will be okay.

If I forget where I parked my car, I wander around the lot and click the clicker until the car lights up because I got close enough for it to unlock. Saves me a little embarrassment once in awhile...
