Hello to all. I have been working over 40hrs lately, about 50, and my blood pressure has gone up. I even wake with a headache. Last night it was 180/80. I get these sick headaches , and I know its my pressure. I'm able to take it at work. So, I was wondering if any of the meds I'm taking can cause it? Any helpers? Thank-you, meds below,
KJ

Psych meds usually decrease blood pressure because of the sedation.

I always ran really low until I was put on Concerta, and now it's normal.

The new med I am taking for RLS lowers BP too, so I will run low again.

Get some blood pressure medicine because high blood pressure can be dangerous.

I would ask your pharmacist asap. I also have high bp and it can be very dangerous left untreated as Sunangel already said.

Agree with SunAngel- 180/80 is pretty high. If the top goes over 200, get yourself to a hospital. Def worth a call to your doc. Also if you're using a wrist cuff try the other hand and make everything is lined up correctly, the margin of error is pretty large if not used exactly right.
