Not for the few pounds but because I stutter and can't find words - and I am seriously going back to school! Omg. I took half the dose tonight. Plus I found that Zyprexa causes frontal lobe damage.

That's up to you. I had that same reaction to gabapentin & quit it. Stuck with it for a long time, hoping the side effects would go away, but they just got worse.

I didn't like Zyprexa either...I hope you can find something better! My doctor concluded that I can't tolerate any antipsychotics so I don't have any suggestions..

Woohoo for going back to school! What are you going to be studying?
No advice on the Zyprexa, haven't tried any antipsychotics yet, but good luck...

Good luck Moose! Sounds exciting.
I have the same fears of antipsychotics as you. If you want to stop talk to your doctor and get them to help you come off of it. |

Moose- that is what I have my degree in!
 Music is a hard degree path but a lot of fun and I already miss my vocal lessons and production labs. I really hope you enjoy it. Anyway, I totally understand your frustration. I forget words pretty often when I'm speaking to someone (oddly though, never when I'm singing...). Sometimes it seems like these meds just make you old earlier. Maybe talk to your doctor and see what your other options are?
