So excited! it's been 2 weeks since my husband lost his job, after 6 interviews, I got 3 job offers! I took a job at a factory doing electronics assembly. I'm very nervous...whenever i start a new job, i always worry that no one will like me, or everyone is judging me...i hope i can get past this, because this is the perfect job for me.....6am to 2pm, fulltime, benefits, paid vacation after 6 months. it is perfect because i will be able to spend most of the afternoon with my children....i hope i do well at it.

Congratulations!! That's so exciting!

Working full time can be hard, but those are good hours. At least you are home before dark. I hate going home in the dark during winter. Plus a lot of good benefits!

I also worry about people liking me and judging me. I can relate to that. I always worry my co-workers are whispering bad things about me when they talk privately. That like one really hard thing for me at work, actually. But it usually just turns out I"m totally wrong and being paranoid.

Congrats jLock!!!

That's really great news, great time too! I hope that job works out great for you. It does sound like a really good opportunity. I'm sure you will do good, just gotta find a way to turn those negative thoughts around. Maybe your new coworkers will like you so much, you'll be fighting them off with a stick!

Good luck, remember to have some fun there.

Thank you for your responses! Another thing that I am nervous about is the fact that i take 400 mgs of seroquel at night for sleep, and it knocks me out for usually 10 hrs, so I think I am going to have to start taking it earlier (around 6 pm) it usually takes a few hours for it to kick in. Last night I took it at 7 pm and I passed out around 930pm. I'm going to have to get up around 4 am, so that is going to take some getting used to, so i will be setting 2 alarms for a while! lol

Nice one. I love it.

I'm sure it will work out great for you - it sounds ideal. Try not to anticipate too much, or worry too much.

I have difficulty getting up at 8am without Seroquel LOL. Good luck with that one.
