I can't believe that I forgot my meds last night. I have a routine. I take my phone and iPod to the bedroom first and on the way I stop and take my meds. Last night I also carried my bag with my exercise clothes. Both hands were full and I just walked by my pills, completely forgetting them. I couldn't sleep and had a good book and didn't fall asleep as I normally do. At 4:30am it finally hit me that I didn't take my sleep meds! Of course it was too late to take them. I did get about 2 hours of sleep so I'm a bit tired today. I better not forget them tonight!!!

I am very good about taking my meds but if my routine is interrupted then I am likely to forget them. Maybe a sign on the wall.... "Did you take your meds?"

That's funny, I forgot mine this morning. Remembered them about 2 p.m. This must be National Forget Your Meds Day.

I am horrible about remembering to take anything. With me it is more like "I can't believe I remembered to take my pills." It doesn't matter what the pills are. Vitamins. Pain meds. Birth control (which I was able to get it every day but never at the same time.) Psych meds.... nope, doesn't matter. After my c-section in December, when I went home, I would just sit there in pain and completely forget to take my meds. Even when they were right in front of me.

I've tried reminders, daily pill boxes, notes, signs, alarms... nothing has worked for me.

That sounds frustrating dark_heart. I tend to tie mine into routine, but I face the same problems as Anne when my routine goes haywire.

I stopped taking my meds about a year ago (and I've been quite alright, not psychotic or suicidal or anything extreme, just a little unstable when it comes to moods), but when I did take them it was always my mum reminding me. I ALWAYS forgot
