Wow, Trippin', I sure can relate to that. Really, I've never exercized as an intentional activity unto itself. BUT. I've always been a naturally very physically busy person -- very physical jobs, gardening, shoveling massive amounts of snow, a lot of walking --up until the last 2 years (not for physical reasons... so really, no excuse!). And like you're talking about -- it makes incentive about zip diddly! I was super fit in h.s. (figure skating), and now at 49 (ugh!) weigh around the same (fluctuates), wear smaller sizes etc. Even pregnant (29), gained 25 lbs, and it wasn't unusual to have to explain to people why I couldn't do heavy lifting (job entailed) even just before having him(!) At hospital, you know how they do that massage thing? Nurse exclaimed, "omg, that's your spine! (from the front) -- that was all baby!" No stretch marks, same clothes. Anyway, that was long ago. Definitely worth noting, I've never had an ED. I like to eat! Just ask anyone, lol.

I do want to get more physically busy though, as I'm less injury-prone that way. I can't even envision myself doing exercise exercise, but I do like walking. A lot. And do not stroll. (Even in stores, which can be rather obnoxious! )

(Don't hate on me , I know I've got it good and damn lucky in this dept.!) And yes, I do feel guilty and lazy -- so many impressive examples here!

While I went to judo for 5 years, I also just WENT BACK after taking just as long OFF! Talk about guilt. But these meds just made me HAVE to do something to counter this weight. And I may yet switch meds- again! (and still exercise and lose weight like "normal people".)

Judo today went from 10:30 to 1:15! I had a great workout. Did a nice throw at the end when we were throwing someone for his birthday. Workout was good and difficult. Got told that one fit-in (doing everything but the throw part = feet and arms) was really good.

I've noticed I go on all out exercise plan when I'm out of a depression but then I fall back in and all I want to do is sleep. So exercise goes out the window.

I was doing the 30 Day Shred for awhile. Then I had my gallbladder removed and got two infections so I quit doing it. I got motivated to start working out again and messed up my back. Now I'm in a severe manic state and all I want to do is run down the street screaming. Maybe one day I will get back to it.

Yeah, I broke my back in the NAVY... I can work out, but then all of a sudden I suffer a pinched nerve and I'm out for weeks... Sucks, so I gave it up... Recently, my physical therapist got me a TENS unit... Some electro shock stimuli, seems to help. Interestingly, he tells me that I should try to work through the pain and get into strength training, then use the tens unit and ice therapy...

IDK..
