I met with my pdoc this morning and she thinks my mood instability has to do with the med changes we did last week. So we did some more messing with it. I am hoping this works because yesterday wasn't so happy. I was mood swinging and such and swung really low. I am still irritable and I hate that. I hope the med changes we did work quickly.

Hi, Jannie!

Those med changes can be a bear. I saw my pdoc this morning When Wellbutrin was added to my cocktail, I wanted to quit because the side effects were horrible. Finally they went away. Hang on to the thought that the mood swings will likely calm down when the med change calms down too.

I agree with Azalysa, meds changes can be rough.... Hopefully this change will be the right one for you... I am still trying to find the right mix for me. Sometimes they work great for a long time and then bamm they stop and the trial and error starts over... But hang in there.. My thoughts are with you.

Thanks for the responses guys. I am doing somewhat better I am almost out of Risperdal and am to see my pdoc on Monday so will get a refill then. I am hoping I'll be able to make it to her because we just got dumped on by ice and snow and tomorrow we are to get some more and it makes me nervous driving. The mood instability is getting better and isn't so rapid anymore. I think part of it also was that I have an ear infection and so that brings my tolerance down.
