I am going to my pdoc again today. Last month we decided that seroquel is not for me, just hasnt helped and caused major weight gain. I remember reading a post last month about a medication that helps with the weight gain. I think it was topomax? Is that correct? Also is it like seroqul for depression? I want to ask him if we can try this one.

Topamax is the one with the reputation for losing a few pounds.

Topamax is my mood stabilizer. I take it with antidepressant Cymbalta & recently it was doubled to 50 mg twice a day, the Cymbalta increased to 90 mg daily. Everything else carries side effects or just doesn't work.
