Hi everyone,
I am on disability and until next year when I start attending college full time, I really don't have much to do during the day. This often leads to feelings of boredom or even depression, and napping unnecessarily during the day. Here are things I already do: -Take Zeppelin for a walk -Workout 6 times a week w/ exercise DVDs -Homework (I'm getting my last high school credit) -Use the computer -Read -Write -Meditate -1 on 1 therapy & group therapy -Errands (going to school, walking to the grocery store, to the bank, etc. I don't have a vehicle, which means I usually walk somewhere every day, plus the walk with Zeppelin) -Not often, but sometimes video games Not much, I know. That's why I'm looking to my favourite peeps on this forum for advice! I am on an extremely tight budget, so cheap or free things to do would be best. Any suggestions on activities I can do to make my days less boring? Thanks! |

Have you considered taking up some kind of crafting hobby? I draw and occasionally crochet (I'm in a similar boat; no job and nothing to do with my time except chores), it helps pass the time.

The library is always a good place for me. It is free and gives me somewhere to go.

Gardening??? Nice and free therapy, people usually give you plants from their garden if you can't afford a lot. Or that's how it works here. It's like a book club but with plants.
