Anyone know where I can find a discount on Lamotrigine in the US? 100mg/30 tablets...

I don't know how I'm going to do this. I'm so deep down in my hole.

Who decided people on SSDI make too much money to get Medicaid?

I don't qualify for Medicare until 5/1, but I have enough pills to last me until at least 3/27...Maybe I can afford the 53.99...if I don't eat. That's okay. I have an eating disorder anyways...not like I couldn't use the help.

I'm so low. Can't stop sobbing. This will pass, right? Tell me it will go away...that's all I want to hear.

Luckily, I can afford the Haldol. Maybe that's all I need. Pray this sadness is just sadness and not a deep dark depression that Haldol can do nothing for.

WHY WON'T MY PDOC CALL ME BACK?

I've called her four times today about my OCD medication and my mood stabilizer. She assured me they were $4 at WalMart. Guess what? They aren't. I hate you, new pdoc. Today, I hate you a lot.

I believe if you get a costco membership it's around $18-25. But you have to pay for the membership....

Shop around.

Pricing is set by the seller in most states, or else the $4 drugs would not be available at some stores but not others. Those are only available (as loss leaders) for selected meds, usually in the neighborhood of 350 or so of them. Meijer and Publix offer free antibiotics, for example. There are also states with anti-predatory-pricing legislation, like Colorado doesn't allow selling drugs for less than wholesale cost.

You can check some details here: http://www.ncsl.org/issues-research/...ates-2011.aspx

Also, here's a Snopes article confirming that sellers get to charge whatever they want in many states: http://www.snopes.com/medical/drugs/generic.asp

It looks like BJ's and Costco will generally fill Rx's for non-members but you can't pay by check. You might also be able to get mail-ordered refills cheaper (Medco and the like) but you have to plan ahead for that.

I don't see any mention of AZ on those lists, so I have to assume that you'll end up paying whatever the seller wants to demand. If you phone the pharmacies in your area and ask for a price, you should be able to find the lowest cost. My 150mg 30-day fill of lamotrigine costs under $2 with insurance, and Pomco (my Rx insurer) says the retail cost is under $20.

unfortunately, I've called 6 different places and the cheapest lamotrigine...besides costco...is $55. Cheapest Luvox is $90!!! So Costco it is!

We have state sponsored medical ins. in Minnesota. This covers for poverty and pre- existing conditions that ins. won't pay. Thank god this is is one of the overdue changes we'll get with Obama care. Does Arizona have anything like that? I'm on SSDI too. I hear you go on after two years.

ACCCHS. Which is Medicaid practically. I just lost it due to making too much money. My Medicare starts in May.
