Alrighty, so I'm tapering off Seroquel XR at a slow pace...recently came down another 50mg. (Began at 350mg, now at 250mg). I had always assumed that because Seroquel XR made me more tired, it would also make me more depressed. I was looking forward to feeling less depressed.

Well, now I feel MORE depressed. What the heck is going on? Anyone else experience this when coming off Seroquel?

Seroquel is one of the few drugs that is supposed to help bipolar depression. Even though it makes you tired, youred tired and less depressed!

I guess I'd just assumed that tired = depressed, because when I am depressed I usually feel tired. Hopefully this feeling goes away soon.
