headache though. Its hard to describe. Does anyone else get
something like this?

I know a side effect of lamictal is headaches, so maybe it has something to do with that. I'm only on lamictal and abilify and I get them every once in awhile when I'm really down.

I have a very hard time concentrating when depressed because I feel like there is a heavy fog in my head. It doesn't hurt but it does seem to affect all my senses as well. Nothing taste good or smells good, the world seems dull, colors seem muted and even seeing seems to be difficult because it feels like my head is full of smoke or fog and it is difficult to see out.

I also have migraine headaches but what I described above is totally different. I can't concentrate when I have those either but it is because it is painful.

I often have a pressure in my head. It feels like someone is just lightly pressing on my brain. It doesn't hurt but the worse the episode is the more pressure I feel. There is no medical reason for this and I've also been diagnosed with psychosomatism, which is physical sensations that are all in my head.... It isn't painful exactly, but noticable and annoying.

I do. But it's not like a migraine, it's more like a stuffed up feeling. Pain relief doesn't seem to help it at all. The therapist calls it a migraine but I don't agree because I have had a lot of migraines (and sure I will continue to) but this pain is different in ways I can't explain.

I get migraines too!

Though I don't get migraines more when depressed, when depressed I pretty much have a constant tension headache.
